Homeschool ZooClass is a four-session series of classes designed for homeschool families and based on our most popular thematic programs. Projects worked on throughout the four sessions encourage both individual and group learning, while providing students the opportunity to take an extended and interdisciplinary look at the wonders of the Zoo!

Biodiversity or Bust

The biodiversity of a region contributes to the natural sustainability of all life in that area for the foreseeable future.  What would happen if that was taken away? In this ZooClass series, students will explore what it means for a region to be biodiverse, as well as discuss threats to that biodiversity and formulate ways to help. Students will also spend time doing projects and activities, meeting ambassador animals, and exploring the Zoo.

Ages 9 to 12
